A friend of mine put me up on this group kinda recently. I've yet to hear a whole album by them but everything I've heard has been real quality. This is their newest single, it came out about 2 weeks. Very fitting for the type of weather we've been having here in the Midwest. This song makes me want to go outside on a snowy day and just chill on the porch, listening to this through my laptop speakers(lol)while reading/drawing/deep converstatin' or reflecting. Following last year’s Project Colorize campaign, which saw collaborations with artists Ron English and Tara McPherson, Ray-Ban is gearing up to release a pair of shades designed for the DIY movement. Or, rather, lack-of-design. The Colorize kit will come with a blank pair of Wayfarers and a pack of markers and stencils with which to customize them.

This Weeks: MUSIC ON REPEAT.

New school semester started yesterday for me... WOOOO HOOO, heh yea right. I AM just about ready to BE DONE.

ANYWAY.

I've been on this weird time warp with music over the last week or so.... where all new(ER?) music seems boring, too cliche, repititious, and ingenuous. That ever happen to you? everything pre 95 era sounds so right. I believe the new Q-tip record is partially to blame for this, renaissance is so quality. It put me in a whole other mode of music that i havent been in awhile, Nostaliga, I just wish my old iPod wasn't broken i lost the almost all 70s soul music that I had. If any of you need any of the albums I mention in Music On Repeat posts just let me know I would more than happy to share

Maharishi Reversible Jacket

Maharashi’s Reversible F67. Found it on Tobi's site a day or two ago, and I thought it was real dope at first but now i just don't know. Deciding to post it now to let you guys be the judge. Bet you guys can't get the denim he's wearing (Haha). But check out Tobi they've got some great brands there like Helmut Lang, Cheap Monday, Maharishi, Nooka, APC, Comme des Gracons, Converse by John Varvatos, WeSC and True Religion (LOL j/k I can't stand TR atleast their menswear, its terrible)

Vans Royal Blue Checkered Pack

You already know I had to. I'm usually not a fan of blue, especially navy, but since these are ROYAL Blue (just a tad brighter than regular blue which make them pop more). The lining and the and laces are a nice touch, and i might actually bite that idea at some point. Clean and simple. I would prolly get these, if didn't own Vans Vault Haring Bones Tics. You can get them here at the world famous Colette store in France.

Nike WMNS Skinny Dunk High

The first of the “Skinny” Dunk to release is this black and varsity red pair, the new shoe is specially made for the female consumer. The silhouette of the Dunk is the same but its less bulky because of the special last used. This pair is simple and can be a great everyday shoe, since its black it pretty much matches with all your casual gear. The shoes retail at $100 and is currently available at Nikestore.com.

Propz goes to my girl Nitrolicious for the find. Dope colorway but I'd have to see them on a Fly Girl to make final judgment. Guessing skinny jeans would make these look best. I'm definitely a fan of girls in hi-tops.

2010 Ford GT500 COBRA

Never really been much of a domestic automaker fan but this is an exception to the rule. I've loved cobras since I got into cars. To me it symbolizes American Car Culture at it's finest but it same represents some of the best design, engineering, and ingenuity this country has to offer.

This new iteration of the cobra pushes the output from 500 hp at 6,000 rpm to 540 hp at 6,200 rpm. Twisting force also goes from 480 lb-ft at 4,500 rpm to 510 lb-ft at the same peak speed. All that torque flows from the Tremec 6-speed gearbox through a limited slip differential with a 3.55:1 final drive ratio. The forged alloys on the coupe are wrapped in Goodyear F1 Supercar rubber sized 255/40R19 front and 285/25R19 rear. I believe the engine block is the same as the last model which mean this will be HEAVIEST Mustang in production. It's still on my dream car buy list nontheless.
