Alex Tse, Screenwriter for Watchmen, will be writing the script. Ninja Scroll is cult classic as far as kung fu/anime/ninja films go. And is arguably one of the best Japanese Animated films of all time. I've only seen it a hand full of times, although not recently I do remember loving it. I just feel like this is a movie that could easiy be screwed up by making it live action. I think one of the commenters from the site I found out aboutt this from said it best:
Dear Hollywood, please come up with new ideas for making movies. Stop making remakes, reboots, videogame movies, movies based of animes or movies based off foreign movies. Thanks
